Theory and Hazard Perception
(Part 1)
Theory Test
100 multi choice questions (25 x 4 Bands)
Band 1: Road Procedures
Band 2: Traffic Signs and Signals, Car Control, Pedestrians, Mechanical Knowledge
Band 3: Driving Test, Disabilities, Law
Band 4: Publications, Instructional Techniques
Test time 90 minutes, overall pass mark 85% - minimum of 20 correct answers in each band
Hazard Perception
14 Clips, 15 Developing Hazards, 1 Clip contains 2 Hazards – Total maximum score 75 (15 x 5)
PASS MARK for PDI’S 57
Reference books: Highway Code, Know Your Traffic Signs, Driving Essentials Skills, Driving Test.

Trainee Licenses Franchises Available
Once you have passed your Driving Ability Test and completed your 40hrs Instructional Training you can apply to the DSA for a ‘Trainee License’.
ECOSAFE can offer you a franchise to suit your requirements and provide the 20 hours additional training as specified by the DSA.

ECOSAFE offers check test training to all ADI’s wishing to achieve or maintain a high standard.
Cardington Special Driving Test
ECOSAFE offers professional coaching to all ADI’s wishing to undertake ‘Continued Professional Development’ (CPD).
